Student Attendance

ATTENDANCE REMINDERS

  • Please contact Hebron School by 9:00 a.m. each day your child is absent. Parents may leave a voice mail at 477-8915 or email rebecca.stone@evsc.k12.in.us to make school staff aware that your child is safe and in your care.
  • Vacations, family gatherings, and personal reasons count against your child’s attendance. Plan these with the school calendar in mind.
  • Doctor statements excuse your child’s absence. For convenience, you may bring in your child for evaluation by Hebron’s nurse, Jacquie Brinkman, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. No appointment or fee is required. If the nurse determines your child must go home for the day, that day will not count against your child’s attendance.
  • School starts at 8:15 a.m. Arrival at 7:55 a.m. gives your child time to get organized and ready to learn.
  • Children who miss five days of school have lost a week of valuable class instruction time. Good school attendance ensures school success and forms the foundation for good work habits and a successful future.
  • Your child’s attendance may be viewed online any time at Parent Access. If you need a parent activation code for Parent Access, or for more information about attendance, please contact Angie Stumpf at 477-8915 or angie.stumpf@evsc.k12.in.us.
